Frequently asked questions

When should I rsvp by?

Please plan to RSVP to all events by no later than April 30, 2024. Please help us plan the perfect celebration by sending in your responses as early as possible.

I HAVE A FOOD ALLERGY/DIETARY CONSIDERATION, CAN I MAKE A SPECIAL REQUEST?

Please let us know with your RSVP! We will do our very best to honor all dietary considerations & allergens. We plan to have vegan/vegetarian options as well as celiac friendly and nut-free options.

CAN I BRING A DATE/PLUS ONE?

Due to the intimate nature of our wedding, we will not have the physical space for any additional guests you may wish to bring. Your invitation lists who is invited. Thank you for your understanding and willingness to keep our nuptials as personal as we had hoped.

ARE KIDS WELCOME?

There will be a few littles joining us for the day. Please be mindful that no child care will be provided and you and your family are solely responsible for caring for and supervising your littles. There is a changing station in both the men’s and women’s restrooms in Marnie’s Pavilion. Please note that we'll be having a more grown up centric menu so snacks/food for your little is recommended.

is there a dress code?

It’s a party and we all want to be the best dressed! But please leave those blue jeans at home. We highly suggest and would greatly appreciate if you wear an outfit within the following color scheme.

Also please be aware that our venue is primarily outdoors. Heels can be worn at your discretion but be mindful that there will be gravel and uneven surfaces. We are hoping for sunny weather but Colorado likes to surprise us. If you pack a light jacket or shawl, you’ll be ready for anything .

WHAT TIME SHOULD I ARRIVE AT THE CEREMONY?

Your invitation allows you access to the Denver Botanic Gardens for the day and we highly encourage you to explore! Please be mindful that the ceremony will start promptly at 4pm, so plan to arrive with enough time to find the Solarium and your seat!

Should you need the restroom, there are gender neutral restrooms in the Freyer-Newman Center (behind the conservatory) and gendered restrooms in Marnie's Pavilion as well as other locations throughout the gardens.

Where am I going?

The Ceremony will be held in the Woodland Mosaic Garden and the reception will be held in Marnie’s Pavilion at the Denver Botanic Gardens. A map of the gardens is below.

IS THERE PARKING FOR THE CEREMONY AND RECEPTION?

The Denver Botanic Gardens has free parking both above and below ground. It is located immediately across the street from the main gates on York St. Parking is first come, first served. No overnight parking is permitted.

IS THERE TRANSPORTATION TO AND FROM THE CEREMONY AND OTHER EVENTS?

All transportation to and from wedding weekend events will be the guest’s responsibility. We ask that if you plan to consume alcohol, you also plan to have a safe ride home via designated driver or other transportation service (I.e. Uber/Lyft, or public transportation). We will not be held responsible for any actions taken before, during or after the wedding weekend related to the consumption of alcohol.

Please see our travel page for suggestions on getting around town.

ARE YOU REGISTERED? WHERE?

We have a lovely registry through Zola. Since we are both well established, we’re asking for contributions towards larger gifts. We also understand that travelling to and celebrating with us during our wedding festivities is gift enough.
